Dear Members,
We are looking for some guidance or experiences regarding UK visitor visas on compassionate grounds.
A close family member abroad wants to visit us for about 5–6 months to provide support during a serious medical situation. One family member (Daughter) here has a long-term health issue affecting mobility, and another is recovering from cancer treatment, so having a relative stay temporarily would make a huge difference.
We can provide full accommodation and support, and the visitor has strong ties back home — property, family responsibilities, and financial commitments — and fully intends to return after the visit.
If anyone has experience with similar visa applications, compassionate grounds, or what supporting documents were most effective, I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks so much for your help.
Family on UC. Daughter is on sick leave...still have sick payment on employment record.
Thank you
