ILR query

I got ILR and have a wait for 1 year to apply for citizenship, my children are dependent on my skills worker visa (old) and did not apply for ILR as my spouse is on skills visa not completed 5 years. What is the best option for getting ILR/citizenship for my children other than 10 year route (which may get scrapped) ? Can I apply under MN1 section 3(1) ?

Your children will qualify for ILR when your spouse does.

No shortcut route to citizenship for kids either. They need ILR first if they were born abroad.
