My friend recently applied for a UK Visitor Visa (6 months) for his mother-in-law.
The purpose of travel was family reunion and visiting nearby tourist attractions.
1. Travel
2. Insurance
3. Accommodation and local hospitality
From his mother-in-law’s side, no financial documents were submitted, as she is unemployed. Unfortunately, the visa was refused.
The refusal reason mentioned that:
1. There was no evidence of income or financial support from close family members in her home country
2. The documents did not demonstrate strong personal or economic ties to her country of residence
3. The officer was not satisfied that she would leave the UK at the end of her visit
1. Bank statements
2. Property ownership documents (he owns the house they live in)
3. A supporting letter explaining that his wife is a housewife and financially dependent on him
1. Would these additional documents be sufficient to address the refusal reasons?
2. Is it advisable to reapply immediately, or should he wait for some time before submitting a new application?
Any guidance or similar experiences would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance
