Travel Rules for Settlement Visa Holders!

Post by Khatera » Wed Feb 25, 2009 1:18 am

Hi! I am the spouse of a British Citizen and i currently hold a two-year visa, which is going to be expired on 27th September, 2009. In 2008 i went to France for 18 days and now i want to go to my own country for 2 months, but i was informed that i can't stay for 2 months there, considering the fact that i am still on a 2-year-Settlement Visa. And some body told me that upon my arrival back to UK i should still have 3 months time before my visa expires.

Could you please let me know what are the applicable rules in this regard and where to search for more information i.e a website.

Many thanks in advance!
