What to do next?

Post by anjali_devi » Thu Mar 19, 2009 8:12 am

I have an ILR and planning on getting married in UK.

1) Would I require a COA
2) Would my partner who is on a work permit require a COA?

Thank you very much

Thank you Mr Rusty. I am applying for my British naturalisation in about 2 months time. If we plan to get married after I am a british citizen, would my partner on a work permit then not require to apply for a COA?. This would save us 295 pounds.

Thanks.

As long as his visa is subject to a time limit, i.e. until he gains ILR himself, he would need to apply for a CoA
