Is there any law exist ?

Post by softmind82 » Fri Mar 27, 2009 8:26 pm

Hi

I hope some body can advice me regarding my question.

I am living in Uk from last 7 years and need to know if there is any law exist that i can apply for the ILR under any category.

My baby is due to born on 25th of june this year and i really do not wanna go back to my country because i am so use to it to staying here and cant think of start my life again from scratch.

I was student since 13th july 2002 to 5th june 2008 and then i got 1 year IGS which is expiring on 6th june but can extend 1 more year, so thats mean after finishing my IGS/PWS it will be 8 years for me in this country.

Any chances under any law i can stay or apply for ILR.

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

softmind, there is the 10-year (continuous legal) long-residence category. Try to get a Tier 1 or Tier 2 visa after your IGS.

Softmind,

Another scenario would be if after your IGS/PWS, you could be a student again for couple of years to be eligible for 10yr criteria.
