EEA applications ... new procedures from 01.06.09

Post by John » Fri May 22, 2009 8:02 pm

UKBA have published details of new procedures they will adopt as from 01.06.09 .... click here.

In view of what that says I suggest that, unless there is a pressing reason for someone to make their EEA application in the month of May .... wait until June to apply. I suggest that because whilst UKBA do not specifically say so, I suspect that the new procedure will mean that the CoA ... the Confirmation of Application letter ... will be issued much sooner, much closer to what the EU Directive actually says .... "immediately"!
