Timelimit for ceremony after receipt of approval letter

Post by Pradeep Kumar » Sat May 23, 2009 12:05 am

Hi
My wife has received the approval letter of naturalisation today 22nd May (dated 17th May on letter).

She is in Singapore for another 3 or 4 weeks due to the official work (travelled to Singapore on 20th May).

Can she ask for the later citizenship ceremony date from Council or not ?

Regards
Pradeep

The letter should say how long she's got to do the ceremony, usually 3 months.

Thanks for your reply .Yes it says the ceremony must be booked in 14 days and should take place in 3 months .I was confused about that it should happen in 14 days only .Thanks a lot again
