Naturalisation Process

Just wondering if anyone has recently applied for naturalisation and will like to hear their experiences. Some of the information I require:

1. Was your application sent by yourself or via NCS?
2. When was the payment processed from your card (i.e. from the date application was sent)?
3. Did you receive any acknowledgement for the application, if so when?
4. How long does it take to receive the approval (if you have)?
5. How long does it take to arrange for the ceremony?

I will be grateful if people with this experience described above can respond.
