Schengen Visa at French Embassy

Post by RAJ2007 » Thu Sep 10, 2009 9:53 am

Myself and my wife (both have ILR) are going to apply for Schengen Visa at French Embassy, London in person . I have got few queries.

1. If I attend the interview and carry all the paperwork for myself and my wife would that be ok. I mean if my wife does not attend the interview would that be a problem.
2. I came to know from one of my friends that the following documents needs to submitted (along with app form, photos and fees) :
Letter from employer, payslips (3months), bank statement (3 months), travel documents (rail tickets and hotel reservation), travel insurance and obviously our passports.
Is there anything else you think I should carry?
3. On an average if the appt is at 11.30am when could we expect to be out from the embassy.

I would be grateful if someone could kindly advise me on the above please.
