no defined time limit for referees signature but...

Post by yarons » Mon Oct 05, 2009 12:42 am

Hi

I know that there is no defined limit to how early referees can sign the AN form for naturalisation but I was wondering whether someone knows a case where this was an issue (i.e referees signature date was too early in the form).

I am applying in February and both my referees are very busy people so I'd like to catch them in the next month or two to be on the safe side.
Will ukba accept a signature which is 3-4 months old?

Thanks
Y

On the date the referee sign the form will they have met this criteria?

"they have known the applicant personally for more than 3 years;"

Yes, of course but is there any risk of them signing 3-4 months before the form reaches ukba?
