Views and opinions are invited on ONE YEAR VISA by British high commissions to hsmp applicants who applied after 3rd Apr 2006 specially border line cases.Although rules in place after 3rd Apr 2006 required stamping of 2 years visa but most of hsmpians got one year specially if they had applied in the later part of Apr 2006. This resulted for undue extension requirement after one year. Home office did accept in their extension letter that mistake was made by the British embassies and their visa was extended for one more year . Since ONE YEAR VISA was under the rules for applications submitted prior to 3rd Apr 2006 which are covered under JR of Apr 2009 for ILR after 4 years. Can any one see that these people should take up their case for ILR after 4 years with the help of HSMP Forum
