Thanks you all the moderatores and memebers who have answered my queries while applying for the ILR which was granted on a same day service out of Croydon yesterday. My wife was granted the same as well on adependent visa. This is just in time as well as we are expecting our first child in the next four weeks . I am overjoyed

Congratulations, glad it all worked out.

Now that you and your wife have ILR any child born in the UK will automatically be British as soon as he/she is born .... but no doubt you realised that anyway.
