what to keep?

to prove the 14 years in the UK do you have to keep everything or can I just archive the top of any official documents to show the name and address?, ie bills, statments and all that as I would like to shred as much as I can as I am runing out of space for storage.

I would keep everything to support my case, l wouldn't want to find out that something l need was shredded because l did not have enough space. It depends on what is important to you, ILR or space???
