can i be banned from the UK if i am married to a uk citizen although my visa has been refused because they did not trust the documents that we supplied. I was advised that you can not be banned which I am sure is not the case

When you say they 'did not trust the documents'....do you mean they suspect the documents were false?

yes, but can they ban a married person for 10 years, if we are seperated. I heard they can not ban under any circumstances, only refuse the visa

IF, as your other thread suggests, you have no intention of going to the UK on a spouse visa and only business then yes the ban will still be enforced.

Even with a spouse visa application, if they believe you have submitted fake documents or given false information in your application, then yes, you can still be banned for 10 years.
