Qualified nurses - Overseas Nurses Programme

Post by John » Mon Dec 05, 2005 2:13 pm

The following UK Visas webpage was updated on 01.12.05 :-

Qualified nurses to enter the UK through the Overseas Nurses Programme

Clearly any non-UK nurse wishing to come to the UK to work needs to take account of what is said on that webpage.

Notice that the original link provided by John has the following:
After September 2006 it will be compulsory for qualified nurses from overseas to register through this programme
The time is coming soon now, so plan for it if you want to go this route.

I know a couple of them, just one got a permit to work for a nhs trust in Grampian scotland, and all others for nursing homes.
