Passport sent by BHC dubai but not received at Gerrys Lhr

Dear Friends

I am very confused..

I called Dubai office on 2nd july and was told by them that my moms passport is in que for stamping passport..they made the decision on the 29th Aug so now i have to wait 2 weeks...
yesterday i called them again and another operator told me first that the application is still under process but when i quoted previous communication she said u will get it in 5 working days.. but i became suspicious and i called them again today and i was told again its under process ..again i informed her about previous communication this time she made me wait for 5 mins and than told me they have dispatched my moms passport today so i will get it in few days...i asked her how long was the visa issued for she said 6 months but i informed her i payed for 2 years fee than she made me old and than said yes it is 2 years..

they seem Dougy...don't know im confused...im counting every single day

UPDATE the BHC Dubaie sent the passport on 6th Sept 2010 to BHC Islamabad or Gerry's but when i call gerry they say they don't have any information...


Family Visit Visa
Application made Feb 2009
Visa rejected April 2009
Appeal made May 2009
Appeal Allowed April 2010
got call letter May 2010
Passport Sent for Visa Stamp 5th July 2010
Rest is confusing

This post is confusing mate, do you mean passport was sent in for visa issuance on the 5th of July, 2010? How come you phoned up before passport was even sent in?

sorry for that...yes the passport was send on the 5th july with call letter so home office can stamp the visa..

it is a family visitor appeal allowed case...

I am calling gerry's in Pakistan like everyday but they say they haven't received it.. :(

An update i called the Dubai office on 14th Sept and they informed me that they have sent the passport to pakistan after the decision on 6th Sept...
I am calling gerry's in Pakistan like everyday but they say they haven't received it..
