UK Ancestry Visa Question.. Advice please

Hey Everyone.

I have a question about the ancestry Application. Do I get my supporting documents back that they are asking for as proof of funds, birth certificate etc? Or do they keep them? I hope they give them back, I'm not made of money :P . Any info would be great. My bf lives in the uk so I want to live there with him, that's why I'm applying for a visa.. My grandmother (nanna) was Scottish so I apply.. Just a matter of understanding the process.

Any other advice would be great to, I'm not really sure about the whole process and want to get this right the first time.

They should return original documents to the applicant.
