Sponsor for what? You need to explain what sort of visas the two people are hoping to get.

Well I suppose there is no limit to the number of people someone could sponsor. It really comes down to whether the person is able to show that they can afford to show that the wife will not need to claim certain Public Funds, and the student will also not need to claim those Public Funds and all the tuition fees and living costs will be paid.

Incidentally, are we talking about a polygamous marriage here? Or put it another way, why would your cousin want to sponsor the student as well as his wife?
