I worked in the UK from 2004 till 2008 on work permit. I was given 6 monthly ones at first then given a 5 years on between feb. 2006 - feb. 2011.
in 2008 I had to leave the UK for family situation so I was given a sabbatical leave from my employer and I went abroad. now I want to come back in July 2011 to the same job.
1. I am not sure if I need a new application for tier 2 or an extension
2. Is it better to come to the UK before my leave to remain expire (feb. 2011) and apply for extension from the UK or let it expire and apply for a new tier 2 visa ?
Can anybody help or know where to get more info as I tried the embassy but they havent a clue !!!
