what if i go back to my home country and wait for my COA?

hi. I need help regarding to my COA Certificate Of Approval.my visa has expired on 31st of jan 2010 ,almost a month ago.i applied for my COA a week prior to it. As im overstayed i see no scope of bieng sure about my case to be decided generously.i mean it would be a hassle in getting registered after i'l b issued with my COA. i need help about the option of returning to my country Pakistan and wait for my COA.i want to know exactly how i would put through my case after returning to Pakistan. I have no idea as what steps i do await ahead. I'l see my solicitor in a week ,before which i wanted to discuss it here .i should be thankful
