Falsely accused of domestic violence by spouse

Post by Jessica1988 » Tue Apr 19, 2011 8:57 pm

Hi, i am writing on behalf of my brother who got married last year to someone from India.

Basically his wife came to the UK in January but left him in March. She has been to the police and has falsely accused him of being violent. My brother is really stressed out and upset, as far as he was aware they were happily married. Her brother boasted about having done this case to gain an indefinite stay to remain in the UK which means that the marriage was a ploy for her to gain entry to UK.

We wanted to know if there is any way of revoking her visa and getting her deported.

All help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

1. That wub be upto the police to deicde if she is right or wrong.
2. Her visa can not be cancelled under there are more support for the victims of domestic violence.
3. Both sides need to put their case and see wat happens.

If your borther's wife wanted to stay in UK she could have done it by living with your brother and get her ILR in 2 years. how can some one leave in 2 months time ?
your brother should have a very good solicitor as far as domestic violence people or any court of law concern she was already on a route to be permanent resident of uk ( married to uk national ) so why go the hard way.

Some thing fishy here

if she has already goten her ILR there is nothing your brother can do to revoke her ILR or deport her, domestic violence or not unless she is still under her 2yrs spouse visa.
