Hi all... just wanted to know if you were working in a graduate job for a year and want to transfer to a WP visa, does the same rules apply... i.e. the job needs to be re-advertised, and proof that i was the best canidate ect!

Yes.

The only way around this is either a Tier 1 (Shortage Occupation, Board level etc.) or for the employer to 'plead their case' for waiving the requirement for a recruitment search (question 76 on the WP1).
