A bit annoyed and a bit worried

Ive just found out that the immigration consultant who had assisted my Tier 1 visa 3 years ago has recently been arrested for doing fraudulent visa activities for a year.
Im about to extend my visa and im a bit worried and angry at him. I was thinking of going through a consultant but ive made up mind to do everything on my own.
Would my extension be questioned or stopped at all?

no not at all....seems he started doing dodgy stuff just a couple of months ago. money lured him to do such acts i suppose
