Does Pending court case affect IRL application?

Post by hellooo » Wed Aug 31, 2011 4:44 pm

Hello everyone.

My case is a totally straight forward case, no gap no other problem. However, just 2 months before my application, my flatmate got arrested because of some incident which was nothing to do with me. then later i went to holiday. during my holiday, the police sent me a letter said they wanted to interview me.(because of my flatmate)

Because i didn't want to get involve in the case, i moved to a different place and didn't attend the interview. However because of the convenient matter, i still using the same address to apply IRL.

Now i wonder will home office refuse my case because i didn't attend the interview?
and I submitted my application 7 months ago, what if i got charge during the 7 months period?
Because I helped my flatmate sell a few items online 4 years ago, i am not sure if he would tell the court and make me got involved.
I was clear of criminal offence before my application.

lately i've suffered a lot of stress and tension due to the waiting of my IRL visa .
Anyone who can help me?
Thank you for your time!

You don't have to fear anything if you have not committed any crime. Why would your housemate tell on you if you helped him sell items online? It is not a crime to sell items online

ILR can be revoked if one has committed serious crime. You have to be totally honest with UKBA including your home address.Your ILR will be sent to the address on file and if you don't reside at the address on file the courier might send back the ILR back to UKBA
