Company dissolved, applying for new WP

Hi,

Unfortunately my present company(I have WP from them till aug 06) was dissolved on 23/05/06. i found another new employer who is ready to do my workpermit. But because my new companies MD is on holiday from 2 weeks they are not able to send my workpermit application until now. They are sending my application in this week sometime. But now I realised that as my previous company dissolved on 23/05 will home office reject my new worpermit application as I am applying lately for new workpermit(more than 28days). I am totally confused now. I have nice job waiting for me so I really do not want to leave the country now.

Please advise me what should I do now?
