Do I need Police Registration Certificate?

Hi Everyone,

This is something absurd. I am applying for Tier-1 Extension very soon. Do I need Police Registration certificate? Please reply as soon as possible. And how can I get one if I do need it?

Ok I found that only Nationals from certain country need to do so. I am Indian and entered in UK in Feb 2009 for the first time and since then I am living in UK (except a few vacation and business trips outside of UK).

Guys, request all of you to please confirm if I need Police Registration certificate or not to apply for my Tier-1 extension. Please help me settle my nerves.

What do I need to do?
If you need to register with the police, the visa in your passport will clearly say so. You will need to register at a specified police station within seven days of the requirement being made.
