Family Visa or Tourist Visa

Hey Guys,

I need to apply visa for my parents to come to uk and visit us. Should I apply for tourist visa or family visa, and between what is the difference between the two.

I have a one bed room house and live with my wife but have enough funds in my bank account. Will it be an issue if i say that I have a one bed room house.

Pls advice guys..

Essentially they are the same and have the same requirement, but stating that the visit is for family reasons will permit a right of appeal in the event that the visa is refused.
