Can my husband continue working?

Just wanted to know that whilst my husbands ilr (set m) is being considered is he still allowed to work in uk????? or does he have to wait for an decision and then contiue to work

If he made an in-time valid application, then he may continue to work even if the date of expiry of leave as spouse has passed.

thanks for the reply. he did make the application 28 days before his visa was about to expire. so hopefully all should be ok........

Welcome to Section 3C ! Where the application for the new visa is made before the expiry of the old visa, if the application is not decided before the stated expiry date of the old visa, that old visa is "treated as continuing" until either the application for the new visa is granted, or ... hopefully not for your husband .... if it is rejected, until the time for appealing against that rejection has passed, and further extended if an appeal is lodged.

Your husband is not just about to become an overstayer!
