Incorrect name on my Tier 1 (General) Visa

Hi There,

My anitial application for tier 1 general had my wrong first name. my friend put down Rahmat ahmad instead of Rehmat Ahmad, just one letter wrong but when I applied for extension, I put down correct name but they sent bio metric letter with wrong name on so I called them up and let them know. They said they would send me an another letter but its been more than a week and no letter has been sent. Does this mean,they could decline my extension on the basis of wrong name that my friend put in the initial application?

Please advice me.
