Indefinite leave to remain validity

I received my brp card has noticed ind3finite leave to remain has been granted for 5 years?

I knew that it is usually for 10 years?

How do we renew it?

Presumably it expires 31 December 2024. This has been answered 100s of times, bit this date is the date the EU set for all biometric documents such as passports and residence permits to be updated with more enhanced security features.

Simply renew the card near expiry if not applying for citizenship, similar to renewing a driver's licence.

Want to ask you Soni, what software did you use for your FPS when you submitted. Moneysoft or Sage. Kindly confirm

Yes there is. You need to check it when you wanted to apply as fees change

Usually when transferring visa into BRP card or on BRP card renewal some proof of residence covering the last few years is also being asked.
