Post by Mallu_Desi » Sun Apr 07, 2024 5:22 pm

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to do a paid enquiry regarding the status of UK six months visit visa. My mother in law had appointment around three weeks ago and i am yet to hear anything about the out come.

What you're looking for doesn't exist. You have to wait till you hear back.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

You can try, but it may not be fruitful; I sent an enquiry and all I got was "it was escalated, wait to hear back or remind us in 3 weeks".

Thank you. It looks like telephone call is cheaper than e-mail. I will wait one more week as there were some public holidays.

Bear in mind that a phone call may be considerably more expensive than an email if your call is held in a queue. 60p per minute + your standard network charge can quickly increase the cost.

And you will be speaking with 3rd party contractors on the phone who from feedbacks gives inaccurate information.

That's a waste of money and time, it will not change anything.

People on the other side of the line will only give you a generic response - as commented, they will not speed up the process or provide a specific timescale for UKVI to decide.

The timeframe given is indicative, it doesn't mean that every application will be decided in exactly three weeks.

The applicant should exercise patience and wait for a decision.
