Childs Name Change on Indian Passport - BRP renewal query

Hi

My child is on Skilled worker dependent visa with Indian passport, we have recently changed his name on passport. His visa renewal is due in July 2024. I have a query here whether to update the BRP first as required by UKVI before his renewal https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-service or can I apply for his renewal and update name as part of same application please?
