APPLYING FOR ILR

I just want to ask if someone delay his travel after he receives the visa, lets say for a month does it have an effect when he applies for ILR???

Visa issued April 2 2010
Validity 2/04/2010- 2/06/2012
May 4 - flight to UK

If this is a spouse settlement visa, then the delay on one month won't affect his ILR application later on. The visa should have been issued for 27 months.
