Proof of residence Type B - FYI

Post by DanSwanepoel » Sun Jan 07, 2024 11:21 am

Hi All,

Just as a bit of an FYI, my solicitor in Dublin sent a query and got a response from the citizenship helpdesk if this is helpful to anyone at all.

This is after the introduction of the Citizen-Guidance-Document.

[To whom it may concern,

Thank you for your email. On the citizenship guidance document there is no guidance regarding what constitutes a phone bill, and whether only landline phone bills or both mobile and landline bills are sufficient proofs.

Kindly confirm whether mobile phone bills are sufficient proofs for ‘Type B’ documents at your earliest convenience.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

[Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email. A phone bill includes mobiles and landlines.
