Ireland Citizenship Application

Hi everyone. Im planning to submit this week my citizenship application based on residency.
I’m a bit concerned about the residency proof score type A part.
There are 4 types of proof in that part what is acceptable. I will write them one by one and explain what is my issue with each of them.

First: Employment detail summary: I don’t have any because I didn’t work at all during those required years

Second: p60 : same reason as the first

Third: Department of Social protection Annual contribution: I have these for all the years but all 0 because I never claimed any benefits

Fourth: Bank statements: I had an account before until last year when it was closed by the bank because there wasn’t much movement on it. I didn’t have any statements from the years I had that account. Since then I have a new account but that’s only the last year I can provide the statements.

So these are the reasons I’m concerned that there will be an issue. Otherwise type B of proofs I have all.

Please If anyone has some advice it will be much appreciated!

Are you applying on the basis of 5 year residency in the Republic of Ireland? Your description of available documents indicates that you have not had an income in the country which will disqualify your application because there is no explanation on how you were funding your life. In the event your partner/spouse was supporting you, do you have joint accounts to display this? To the best of my knowledge, an alternative would be to leverage your spouse/partner for them to first obtain citizenship, then you can apply after on the basis of association.

Yesterday I called my old bank and spoke with them they will send me a bank statement I have an EU citizen wife who works since 2015 at the same job. We have no joint account. We have children whom are 1EU and 2Irish citizens. And because my wife has her long term job We decided I stay home to mind the children full time. So basically my wife has an income to funding me.
In this case do I have to attach any note to explain all these?
