Stamps on father's passport for child's first irish passports

Post by kupuser » Wed Dec 25, 2024 10:31 am

Hi,

To apply for child's first passport the requirement is (for non-eea residing legally for 3 years) to provide passports showing relevant stamps.

But what if there are no stamps on the passport as after COVID-19 the renewals have been online.

One older passport had 2 stamps but a new one was issued later as a result of a minor amendment (city of birth).

Would the appropriate documents be;

1. IRP card
2. Old passport (2 stamps on it but older than 4 years i.e. pre covid)
3. Current passport (no stamps on it)
4. Scans of older IRP cards
5. All immigration letters relevant to the residence

Please advise if above are sufficient or anything else needed to satisfy the legal residence requirement.
Thanks
