EU FAM 4 VISA ----IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

My query is regarding Eu Fam 4 visa in ireland.i would be most grateful if anybody can anwer my following questions:

1. My wife is from poland and i am from india with Eu fan visa from 2 years,our son was born in ireland in 2006 and have polish passport.WILL IT BE POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO APPLY FOR IRISH PASSPORT?

2.IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME AND WIFE TO APPLY FOR IRISH PASSPORT?

3.CAN I INVITE MY FAMILY FOR PERMANENT TO IRELAND FROM INDIA?

4.I HAVE EU FAM 4 TILL 2012,WHEN I SHALL APPLY FOR IRISH PASSPORT?

I am very much confused about all this situation..please reply with your advise and suggestions.

1. How long had you and your wife been living in Ireland prior to birth of your son?

2. Yes once you can prove residency in Ireland for at least 5 years - the last 12 months must be consecutive.

3. Generally no, but may be an exception for Parents. Each application for exception taken on merit. Other family members entitled to visit for 90 days.

4. Apply for Irish naturalisation after 5 years of reckonable residency (stamp 1 or 4) and then wait approx 2 - 3 years.


Just curious, but Polish passport also EU document you and son could get that quicker. Hope info is accurate, I'm open to correction.
