you missed the boat. the department will, after 2005, not consider applications solely on the basis of parentage of irish citizenship. the fact that you went home will make it difficult to rely upon the positive case law in this area. maybe try another eu country if you have got money and health insurance ala chen v ukayad_us wrote:hi there
i was studying in Ireland from 1999 till 2004. my son and my daughter have been born in 2001, and 2003 respectively. both of them have an Irish nationality based on their birth. during this time i did not think to apply for stamp 4 as being parents of Irish born child.. on 2004 i went back home for a couple of years and I came back to Ireland in the end of 2007.
now i have been living in Dublin as student (stamp 2). my kids are studying in Irish schools since 2007. now I really need to have a stamp 4 which will allow me either to find a job or to establish a company tp support my family financially to enable my kids to finish their studies in Ireland.
I would be very grateful if I can get some advice of how can I apply for a residency as being parents of Irish born child
