Ah I see thanks. But My portal is so messed up and I can't even send an query through it . the page stuck in (verification pending) even though I was verified before and I checked my application status . I sent an email to the department directly.

I had faced this problem for myself. iam Irish. when i registered myself as Irish , i was not able to validate my id and i could see that the page is stuck in the Verification pending state. My wife is Non Irish. She is able to successfully register . She still has problems with respect to the applications shown in the status page. thats a different problem

I can log into the portal fine, but both the "Application Stage" and "Detailed Status" sections are blank. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

I’m based in NI and provided my PSNI certificate back in March. I also completed the E-vetting process in August 2024 (even though it shouldn't apply to NI applicants, but I did it as requested).

Quite a few people experience this unfortunately. You can contact them via the portal to ask about it. What usually happens is they send a default message (or none) and then close the enquiry. Sometime later (2 -3 weeks?) the details appear when they’ve (presumably manually) uploaded your application. It isn’t a great customer experience but a question from you about missing details usually trips the system into displaying your application.

I had the same issue and submitted a query. After waiting few weeks, I got a reply that felt like a system-generated template. The response details as below:

Thank you for your correspondence.

Your application for naturalisation continues to be processed. If further documentation and/or clarification of any matter related to your application is required from you, we will contact you requesting it.

You can follow you application through the portal system. But applications can take up to and over 19 months. But as mentioned above if we need further information we will be in touch.

The portal acts as a notification receiving platform. It only displays / updates your application status when someone on their side makes a change. E.g. if they move your application to the next status, you will receive a notification on the portal’s homepage and your new status would then be displayed on your application detail section.

Hi , I got the verification sorted now . I can access the portal and check my status with no issues.

I sent an email to idpalsupport@justice.ie and they've sent me the link again verify my ID through ID- PAL . I tried my driving license this time and it worked!

I am able to login into the portal but, there is no information home/Status/Queries/Registration. Does it mean that my application has not yet been started to be worked upon?
