Congrat @Mintyfresh good to hear that the approval have started rolling out.Forget about the error on INIS website for january,we might be on for December ceremony. If they makes it january,well,what's one month in the life of us,we've waited for years,I'm sure we can wait for few more months b4 having the shinning red passport.Our oyster to the world at large.

I had a good feeling few weeks ago - that INIS should start sending approvals.

You have always my vote.

As you can see whole process took just above 6 months

finally got my approval letter today, applied on 31st March 2014.. wish all good luck who is still waiting..

The question is now when is the next ceremony, lot of business and personal travel scheduled in next 2 months !!

I am so weak with inis. Am sure a lot know my case on this forum. I applied since 2011 and being waiting on a decision since then. Its different stories for everytime I call to check status of application. I had a traffic offence which was reversed back in court in 2008 and I had sent them a copy of this order when in is requested for it last year. Since then its either they are waiting for an outside agency or they will write to me in due course. So painful I watch tons of approval pass me by. am even convinced by in is that there is nothing wrong with my application and they don't need any further documents still I don't know my fate. Today I called but not even sure what to believe anymore. at this stage I don't mind any decision just to get to the end of all these misery. I was told its been prepared to be submitted for a decision. only Jesus knows if they are telling me the truth. Am just confused cos I can place my fingers on the exact problem cos the case in question was ruled out in court n I sent them a prove from court to verify this.

Now go and pay a Solicitor and tell him you want him to take over your case. Explain the whole situation to him. you will remember me today for this advise I just gave to you because I feel your pain. My wife got her approval letter yesterday (13/10/14).
Application: 26/09/12
Acknowledgement: 10/10/12
Second Stage: January 2013.
Final Stage: August 2014
Submitted to the Minister: September 2014
Approval: 13/10/14.

I really thank everyone on this forum, as this has been an inspiration to carry on even when it was gloomy.
For all those still waiting, I pray that your own letter shall arrive shortly. She's waited two years for this!

Do any anyone have idea after sending court order to inis in submission section, how long does it take to now getting decision, I got an acknowledging letter after one week that they received the documents is 2 weeks now.... Any idea.

usually by acknowledgment date they update your record, however, because court is involved, they like to entertain you and delay you (joke aside, the decision is by hands of minister who wont like to spend time reading your status while more important stuff are there to do, hence they prefer clean cases where approval is on spot rather than deciding how risky person you are )

@banana thanks for that reply.... lol but how long does it takes to get back to people when your file is in Submission Department after submitting the court order that they requested for? I got acknowledgement letter for that letter 2 weeks ago, so when is approval likely to come?
