C-Visit visa delay's (Visit Family/Friend)

Hello Fellowmembers,

Is anybody else experiencing the same same delay's in getting approval for C-Visit visa (Visit Family/Friend) , I am Naturalized Irish and applied for visit visa from Karachi - Pakistan , like in the past I applied twice and max it took two months to get an answer but now it's nearly 3 months and no sign of results ?
Any body else in the same boat ?

Kindly please note I need perspective from Naturalized Irish citizens/Stamp 4 but not the EU citizens who are applying C visit visa for Ireland to exercise EU laws & etc.

Hi. Have u had a reply for your visa ? I rang them today and they say they are up 2 date on these.

Unfortunately still in waiting stages, the timelines are as below if it helps.

Case submitted : 11.01.2016 --> Karachi , Pakistan
Case received in Dublin : on 23.03.2016 --> INIS confirmed to me via email
I am expecting an answer on the weekly cycle of ---> 18.05.2016

What's your irl number? Have you checked on the weekly decisions page?
Also I want to apply for this visa can you guide me on what documents to send to Pakistan and which document they must provide in Pakistan too please ?

- I can't disclose the IRL no.
- Yes I do keep an eye on the results section that is updated every Tuesday after Lunch time i.e. GMT + 1

Sorry I didn't mean to pry. It's just yesterday I rang the embassy and the lady told me they were all up to date on the visit visa application maybe you should ring and ask ?

I've had a look at that thread I don't understand what is undercut document that the visitors need to provide ?

Unfortunately that's the problem with INIS ,I am an Irish citizen and applied as regular C visit visa but they cannot differentiate properly and treating my visit visa application the same way as I am applying under EU directive & what's to get my family member in the country. However I cannot apply the EU directive law while being in Ireland.
I remember that's only back last year when my mum & sister got there C visit visas in only 7 weeks & this time it's taking forever however I am expecting a decision either next week if not then definitely the one after, finger's cross.

didnt understand you mate but your an irish cit so is ur case under the directive for eu spouse or not im british exercising eu rights and thats good of ur expecting a decision soon hope u get it so in my understanding our cases are completely doff?

My family applies for visit Family visa and got it done in 16 days after submitting documents.
The embassy requested my 3 months payslip and p60s on Tyne 12th day and I submitted it the following day. Got visa approved email on 16th day. 90 days stamp on the passport given.

I applied from Pakistan as there is no embassy but a counsulate so all the cases are referred to INIS, which country you are talking in this instance ?

Just to give heads up that my family members got the C visa approved finally after waiting for last 5 months. If this information helps anyone.

Timeline:
Case submitted : 11.01.2016 --> Karachi , Pakistan
Case received in Dublin : on 23.03.2016 --> INIS confirmed to me via email
Approved ---> 24.05.2016

My parents applied for their c-visit 3 month visa on:

I am an Irish citizen, my kids and wife here too. This is the 5th month and no sign of their visas yet. Now sure why it is taking them too long to process the applications.

I check the weekly decision and last week they were processing applications received on 22/03/2016 and this week they are processing from 23/03/2016. In the whole week they have just processed applications received on 22md March ????

Its very strange really and fed-up with the immigration process here.............
