photos with €950 draft

Post by lolo82 » Mon Nov 12, 2018 11:38 am

hi

I was just inquiring why a second set of passport photos need to be sent with the €950 payment. I thought the certified photos sent with the initial application were all that were required.

I believe one photo is affixed to your naturalisation certificate. And given sometimes years between application and approval they want updated photos. You’ll need another set of four photos for your passport application after the ceremony

The photo must be less than 6 months old so if you applied more than 6 months ago they will require a new set of photos.

Even if you get approval in less than 6 months, they will still ask for your latest photos ;) This is how public offices work, it is written in their rulebook and why they will bother to change it...

thanks everyone for explaining. Happy to send when I'm asked. thanks as well for explaining the 6 month rule as I still have a set from the initial application I probably would have sent.
