Stamp 4 eufam

Post by charli111 » Tue Mar 12, 2019 5:06 pm

Hi
I need advise about my case . I was married in 2013 with the Latvian citizen and she cannot stay in ireland for long time but always in and out . And now September 2018 she go and decide not to back . We apply divorce it will finalise in april 2019 and we didnot inform the department yet. I meet the solicitor's and no one guide me properly. They just want case . My citizenship time period is complete as well but they want change my stamp 4eufam to stamp 4 . My few friends got temporary visa's for 4 months to six months and renew until the case will finalise but no body get any permanent decision on that case's. How many percent chance i can change my status application approve. Plz guide me thanks very much

honestly not sure what exactly your question is?? do you want to know about retention of rights OR citizenship? you want to know your chances about retention OR Citizenship??

In both cases it depends, what documents you can provide for your application? for retention you need to be married for 3 years and at the time of divorce your wife supposed to be in ireland and exercising her treaty rights. if she left ireland before divorce then your permission ceased.

For citizenship I assume you will need more documents then retention..

I believe in Citzenship there are more checks/inquiries/stages.. I'm not expert but what you mention above i'll suggest 2 things..

1. apply all together EU3, EU5 and citizenship I know they will not proceed with citizenship and EU3 application after seeing your retention application is also in process, at least this will help to build your image that you didn't hide anything from department. and if your luck works and any of your application approved this will help your other remaining 2 applications..

2. just apply retention EU5 but in that still you will need all her documents and activities and problem is that she left the state before divorce..

The only person that can help is your ex wife no one else.
