****COVID 19*** INIS Announcement of plans in place

Post by littlerr » Sat Mar 21, 2020 12:47 am

For anyone whose permission to stay in Ireland expires between 20 March and 20 May, the immigration status is automatically extended for 2 months.

This period will be recognised as reckonable residence if your current permission counts towards reckonable residence.

This applies to everyone who has a valid permission to reside in Ireland (Stamp 0 - 5), permission to temporarily stay in Ireland (tourists, business trips, family visits), people who are still waiting for a decision letter, people who are waiting for an appointment to do their first registration.

There is no need to make an appointment with your local Garda station or Burgh Quay. All existing appointments between this period are cancelled automatically.

Thank you. Have made your topic an announcement at the top of the page and changed the heading slightly. I have locked the topic too to avoid it becoming yet another long running thread.

Further important announcement from the Department of Justice or Immigration Delivery service, as it is called these days.
