After fee process how long to get certificate

If you posted the signed declaration for more than 6 weeks, you should email them to

Today made it exactly 1 month i paid the fees 950. Payment was processed portal status changed to completed since on 4 July 2022. Till now i haven't received my certificate. Not sure if it's okay to contact them or wait, and i need to travel in the next two weeks. I just want to apply for my passport before i travel so i can just come back and meet my passport in the letter box.

I paid fee €950 on 18 may and fee process on 24 June but after that I am still waiting for my certificate. I send email and department reply certificate has been printed and will be posted to u in the coming weeks.

I paid my fee of €950 on the 4th of July. My INIS account still says submitted. How long does it take for it to be processed from the date you pay?
Do you get an email saying it has being processed or with the status change to submission complete?

This questioned is asked and answered like 10 times already. It takes up to 6-7 weeks for your cert to arrive after payment is processed. You get email when your payment is processed. If it takes more thwn 6-7 weeks after payment processed send them an email.

No worries, I also haven't received my certificate yet. I paid my fee the same day as you, it just takes a little longer. If you contact them and they answer let us know because they haven't answered to any of my emails when I tired to contact them a couple of times in the last months

I just received my certificate this morning, YAY!!! This makes it 2 weeks and 2 days after the fee was processed by the citizenship division (a month and 2 days after paying the certificate fee)

Thank you so much! You'll see next week you'll find your certificate in your mailbox for sure! I have the feeling that they send in batches, so yours will arrive soon too! Also, I managed to apply for my passport today. They give you a prepaid label which is express shipping and has a tracking number. I followed the procedure selecting the mygov.ie version which is supposed to make your application more straightforward. We'll see how long it will take, hopefully 25 days as promissed

I'm also waiting for my certificate. It's now 5 week and 1 day

Hopefully we get it this week or early next week? Sadly i'm traveling next week for about 2 week .. Wish i get it this week. I've already done the online passport form, only waiting for certificate and post all documents.

Wow congrats. I'm still waiting. My fee was processed a week before yours and i'm still waiting for the certificate. Hopefully i get it by Monday or Tuesday as I'm travelling on Wednesday. If not, then i will meet it in the post box.
