Hey guys,

My girlfriend and I will be able to apply for a de facto visa in December, as we will be in a relationship for 2 years, she a Irish citizen and me a citizen of the United States. I was just wondering while the de facto is processing, am I allowed to stay in the country until I find out if we get it or not? Any help would be appreciated!
