IELTS english test

I am going to apply for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) immigration .

Would you Pls. let me know the IELTS test , is it General or academic test that i have to go for ?

both r OK but go for general as it is easy. before doing that contact ur university they might gave you latter for exchange with IELETS.

U need B1.
So u need ielts 4 band in all discipline listening, speaking, writing and reading. which is equivalent to B1.
It doesn't matter whether u give the ielts test in academic mode or General mode.
Academic ielts u can use to get admission in colleges, universities and immigration purposes (Tier 1, 2, 4, 5)
General ielts u can use only for immigration purposes (Tier 1,2,5)
But General ielts is bit easier than the academic.
Listening and speaking tests r same for both mode
Only difference is in writing and reading.
Ielts General writing and reading r easier that academic.
My advise to u is give Ielts general as u r applying for Tier 1 (Ent).

One more question , as we are a team of two members , Is it true that only one team member need to make IELTS exam?

no. Both team members need to show their own english requirments and maintance funds requirments
