Further checks???

RECEIVED LETTER ON 28 JAN SAYING


"Although we would normally decide your application within eight weeks from the date it was submitted, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.
A decision on you application has been delayed as a result of further checks.
we expect to make a decision on you application by 07 April 2014,but we will write to you again if this is not going .
Just after receiving this letter they also verified my overseas bank statement as well ...
I just want to know why most of the people getting interview letters and I have received this one what's the difference ?? I'm just waiting waiting where ppl receiving telephone calls from HO even who applied in January ..Any one have any clue what's happening

atlest you got letter and you came to know that you ll get the result by 7th april i have applied 28dec2013 bio done 9th jan2014 after that no news no 8 weeks letter no interviw letter'call nothing...i m clueless no hope ...disappointed

How did they verify your statement oversee, i mean how you came to know UKBA checked the statement, either they called the branch or headoffice, email etc, can you please give some information...thanks
