Applied 10th February (a day before the expiration of my visa), 50k route (self-employed). funds in the UK
Biometric invitation letter sent 14th February, but received it late because of the flood issues
Biometric done 18th February
Approval letter written 4th March
Approval letter received 8th March (less than two hours ago)
Applied as a copywriter, writer. At first I was worried about my business as I studied Architecture in school (and nothing that has to do with writing), but I already had experience working as a copywriter and had attended master classes in writing. I had already written a book as well titled 'Your Father Walks Like A Crab' , I submitted a copy of this as evidence and also submitted evidence that it is available on Amazon.co.uk. I did not use a lawyer as I didn't thin it was necessary.

Marketing materials; 3 flyers, online ads, and a brochure, website printout,
CV /Linkedin profile printout
Business account statement
few emails from customers
Evidences of business advisory services used (which was mostly, invitations for business events organised by my school when I was an undergraduate)
Business plan and Market research (in one document of about 20 pages)
HMRC welcome letter (It does not really say welcome letter, but it was a letter from HMRC showing my Unique Tax reference number, I also requested another letter from HMRC confirming my UTR Number, submitted both)
IN all, I properly arranged and labelled all my documents, I think it helps when you make the work of the caseworker easier, and it also presents you as someone who is organised and meticulous, which is a character needed by every entrepreneur (which is what you are applying as).
I also made sure the presentation for all my documents and evidences were very professional and businesslike, since I'm not there, my documents are all I have to give an impression about me, as a true entrepreneur or as a poser. One might think does little thinks don't count, but I think it adds up.
In all I know it was the favour of God that helped me through. Once again I want to thank everyone that has been useful one way or the other on this website.
